Szigligeti Studio – It's All Yours!

Dear Guests, Ladies and Gentlemen!

 

Today we celebrate the result of a social co-operation. The theatre-loving audiences of Oradea, local authorities and entrepeneurs, artists, creators, the employees of our theatre have collaborated in order to build Szigligeti Studio in the course of a year and a half.

What I feel is more than pride. I think the possibility of action is always open in the life of a community, for that community to define itself in an honest and credible way.

Us, the community of Szigligeti Theatre have acted, and the world around us reacted positively. This cultural facility that we have created as a result of collaboration is in concordance with the European tendency according to which industrial buildings should be used for other purposes. It is a fact: we seized and acted on the oppurtunity that has risen around us, and today, we are solemnly inaugurating Szigligeti Studio as per its designation.
Be it so that the generations that will follow should appreciate the result of our work.

Be it so that they should consider our co-operation and perseverance an example to follow.

Be it so that this space should be the place for soaring thought, talent and creativity.
Be it so that we should all feel it is ours, or in a more simple way:
