Hyppolit, the Butler - Guest Performance this Weekend

On the second weekend in March, Harag György Company of the Northern Theatre Satu Mare is bringing to Oradea the classic musical comedy Hyppolit, the Butler.

Transporter Mátyás Schneider gets rich and successful overnight, but his life is turned upside down by a former count’s butler her wife employs merely because employing a butler is in fashion. The mother is trying to marry her daughter off to the well-bred mister Makács, unaware of the fact that the girl is slowly but surely falling for an impoverished descendant of a noble family who works for the Schneiders under an alias. The situation is further complicated by the appearance of Mimi the dancer.

The performance will take place on the 9th of March, at 5 pm (Gábor József season ticket), and on 10 March, at 7 pm. Tickets are available in limited number at Szigligeti Theatre’s booking office, or online at www.biletmaster.ro.
