MAFESZT II. Has Ended

The second edition of MAFESZT theatre festival has drawn to a close with a sold-out performance of Burundanga, a co-production of the Timișoara and Satu Mare companies as well as Oliver! by the festival’s hosts. During the five days of the festival, the local audience was invited to 14 shows by 6 companies. At the same time, the festival included the third module of the stage tech workshop organized by the festival’s initiators, the Hungarian Theatre Association (MASZÍN) in partnership with the Hungarian Stage Tech Union, along with the second edition of an acting workshop led by world-famous Serbian director Kokan Mladenovic. 

Events included a meeting of the members of MASZÍN, where members have agreed that next year’s festival will be hosted by Tomcsa Sándor Theatre in Odorhei.
