Before the Opening

Workers are making the finishing strokes on the building of the former press, in the yard of Sonnenfeld Palace, about to become a studio theatre. Szigligeti Studio will be the host of exhibitions and other cultural events, containing also a buffet, a wardrobe, a workshop, and rooms for rehearsals and performances alike.

For the opening of the new location of Oradea's cultural life, we are preparing family events: besides guided tours, there will be a children's corner, live music and open-air cooking.

Entrance to the inauguration is free. Season tickets will be put to sale on location.

Szigligeti Studio's first premiere will take place on the 21st of September. On the Day of Hungarian Drama, audiences will see The Case by Tímea-Aletta Szíjártó, directed by Sardar Tagirovsky.
