Áron Beczásy: „There Is a Team Here”

Áron Beczásy graduated the Tg. Mureş University of Arts, and since 2007, he has been working as a freelance actor and director. He has joined the cast of The Case by Tímea-Aletta Szíjártó at the invitation by director SardarTagirovsky. This is the first time he collaborates with Szigligeti Company.

The actor says the company was very open and flexible, accepting him into their team from the very first moment. “I feel that when somebody asks me something, they are genuinely interested in what I have to say. There is a team here, not some individual stars who act beside each other, but people who really work and think together. This is a basic requirement for good theatre” – he says.

Áron Beczásy has been working together with Sardar Tagirovsky for eight years. He says that one of the interesting aspects the director does are the so-called actor trainings, which help actors get to know each other much better than, say, in a pub.

Áron Beczásy thinks that the biggest challenge with this contemporary piece will be to treat it with sensitivity and tenderness, so that it won't lose its depth and drama.
