Book Launch at the MiniSeason

In its drama contest titled dráMÁzat II, in January 2014, Szigligeti Theatre Oradea, the Hungarian Faculty of Tg. Mureş University of Arts, and Tomcsa Sándor Theatre announced three categories: Debut, dráMAíró and dramAutor. The contest raised a great interest: in total, we have received 152 applications, mostly from Hungary and Romania, but also the Ucraine, Slovakia and Great Britain.

Of the dramas received for Debut, according to the decision of the jury, Tímea-Aletta Szíjártó's The Case won first prize. The winning drama will be put to the stage in Szigligeti Theatre the next season. Its creators will be students of Tg. Mureş University of Arts: director Sardar Tagirovsky, and choreographer Csaba Györfi.
The best dramas have been published in the anthology titled dráMÁzat II, to be launched on Friday, the 5th of June, at 4 pm, in the theatre's foyer. The book is published by Szigligeti Theatre Oradea, UartPress Tg. Mureş and Tomcsa Sándor Theatre Odorheiu Secuiesc. Contest winner Tímea-Aletta Szíjártó will be present at the event.
