Close Collaboration Between Oradea and Székesfehérvár Theatres

The collaboration between the theatres of Oradea and Székesfehérvár started in the last season, when our theatre took part in the Szent László Coronation Festival in Székesfehérvár.

Continuing the tradition, an exchange program has started between the two institutions. On 3 May 2015, the Székesfehérvár company played Butterfly by Zsigmond Móricz in Szigligeti Theatre, and in exchange, Szigligeti Theatre brought Liliom by Ferenc Molnár to Székesfehérvár on the 10th. Theatre manager and director János Szikora greeted the company heartily. After the successful performance, a reception took place, where, along with general director Katalin Czvikker, they signed a collaboration contract, that will guarantee further performance exchanges between the two theatres. András Cser-Palkovics, mayor of Székesfehérvár assured the parts of his support. Author, translator Mátyás Sárközi, grandson of playwright Ferenc Molnár, congratulated our company on the play.
