Szigligeti Company, On Tour in Hungary

Between 9—12 May, Szigligeti Company had two guest performances in Hungary. The first stop of the tour was Vörösmarty Theatre in Székesfehérvár, where audiences saw the play Liliom by Ferenc Molnár. Oradea actors were honored by the presence of author, translator Mátyás Sárközi, grandson of playwright Ferenc Molnár. At the reception that took place after the performance, theatre director János Szikora, mayor András Cser-Palkovics and Mátyás Sárközi congratulated the company and thanked them and general director Katalin Czvikker for their work.

Next stop was Thália Theatre in Budapest. At the Festival of Hungarian Theatres from Outside the Borders, our company played Our Class by Tadeusz Słobodzianek. After the performance, festival organizer Anikó Lantos greeted the company and the play's director Anca Bradu, appraising the collaboration of the last two years.

Both performances had a great success, demonstrated by the multiple encores.
