Our Class on Sunday

On Sunday, the 12th of April, audiences will have another chance to view the play Our Class by Tadeusz Słobodzianek. Bessenyei György season tickets are available. Venue: Szigligeti Theatre, big stage.

The drama follows the life of the ten students in a class. Polish and Jewish people represent the generation whose life was gravely marked by the horrors of the Second World War. They tell personal stories about their part in the 20th century, from 1925 to present time. Through them, we face the way a small town's inner life is bombed to pieces by history and vulnerability. Childish jokes, conflicts and affirmations without any consequence are undetectedly transformed and degenerated into hatred.
