Our Class – PREMIERE

On Friday, the 20th of March, at 7 pm, the premiere of Tadeusz Słobodzianek's drama Our Class will take place, directed by Anca Bradu, originally from Oradea. For the premiere, Szigligeti season tickets are valid. Tickets are available in the theatre's booking office, Tuesday to Friday 11 am to 5 pm, or one hour before curtain time. Ticket prices: stalls – 30 RON, box – 40 RON, central boxes – 50 RON, gallery – 20 RON.

The drama follows the life of the ten students in a class. Polish and Jewish people represent the generation whose life was gravely marked by the horrors of the Second World War. They tell personal stories about their part in the 20th century, from 1925 to present time. Through them, we face the way a small town's inner life is bombed to pieces by history and vulnerability. Childish jokes, conflicts and affirmations without any consequence are undetectedly transformed and degenerated into hatred. A staggering tale about history that is impossible to judge or explain objectively.
