Our Class – Press Conference

Yesterday afternoon, a press conference took place in the theatre's foyer, about the play Our Class. Director Anca Bradu, originally from Oradea, spoke about the play written by Polish author Tadeusz Słobodzianek. She said she had wanted to do this play in her home town. For her, Oradea is a great location, from more than one point of view: it is a cosmopolitan city, and the childhood she had spent here gives her a good opportunity to make parallels with the childhood of the drama's characters. On the other hand, the fate of the city's Jewish community is closely related to the drama's plot. This is the third time Anca Bradu is directing a play for Szigligeti Company. She says that the diversity of the creating team is a real advantage for the show. In her opinion, it is important to learn how to live together, accepting and using our differences.

The 10 actors in the play have given all they had for the success of the show.
