The Threepenny Opera – Guest Play

On Saturday, at 5 pm, Harag György Company of Northern Theatre Satu Mare will giva a guest performance of the play The Threepenny Opera.

For the show, Papp Magda season tickets are valid. Tickets are available for 20 Lei (balcony), 30 Lei (stalls and side boxes), or 40 Lei (central boxes). Venue: Szigligeti Theatre.

Although it was fiercely condemned at the time, the play became an international success. Brecht's worldview is a dialectic one. His main question: what can a man do to keep his humanity in a world where one can only get along to the detriment of others, and if he wants to remain honest, he will perish? According to Brecht, the world needs to change, but it will still remain unchanged. Brecht trusts the force of reason, but doubts its power.
