Guest performance at the Szeged Open-Air Festival: operetta `The Csárdás Princess`

In July the theatre play of the Szigligeti Company The Csárdás Princess will be presented as a guest performance at the Szeged Open-Air Festival!

1,200 spectators will be able to see the production of the Szigligeti Company at the Újszeged Open-Air Stage.

Organized for more than 90 years the festival is the largest-capacity theatrical venue in Hungary and one of the most significant summer theatre festivals in Central Europe.

“On July 3, an iconic grand operetta The Csárdás Princess arrives in Újszeged in a multi-award-winning production, featuring the artists of the Szigligeti Theatre of Oradea. The large-scale production, directed by Eszter Novák, presents Imre Kálmán’s classic—set in the final hours of the ‘happy peace times’—with true operetta stars and a decadent, period-authentic visual and emotional world.”
