A hilarious musical cabaret in two parts

The company's usual New Year's Eve musical cabaret was performed again on 31 December. In the prose parts, a hilarious scene named The Theatre by Ferenc Molnár was performed, followed by The Coffee Grinder by Mircea Bradu, the theatre's director and playwright (inspired by Giovanni Guareschi) and a parody by director István Farkas, based on Uncle Vanya, entitled Sickly Uncles, Sickly Aunts. In the second part, the audience could see István Bornemissza's hilarious scene from The Judge's Prize, Áron Tamási's Aphorisms, and Miklós László's hilarious scene from Husbands When They Meet. In the meantime, the stage was filled with a Spanish dance ensemble, a parade of hits, chansons, operetta arrangements, song compilations, old, rythm-filled disco hits, gypsy songs, and parts of songs from the theatre's musical performances. And there was an overture and the dance troupe was excellent. György Kovács, an artist from the Oradea Puppet Theatre, was the moderator.
