a New Year mega-production by Szolnok Symphonic Orchestra
Szolnok Symphonic Orchestra – following its traditions – will present a grandiose production on the 9th of January 2016, to greet the New Year. But this time, it won't just be a popular New Year musical event, but also a grandiose jubilar concert, because the orchestra is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
This time, guests of the Szolnok Symphonic Orchestra will be the Hungarian National Ballet, who had a huge success last year, and the audience can also meet the dancers of Nagyvárad Ensemble again. Dancers of the National Ballet of Pécs and the Hungarian Dance Academy will also bring a new spot of colour to the production. Of course, the concert will not lack choirs either. This time, Hungarian National Choir and Bartók Béla Chamber Choir of Szolnok will take the stage.
Musical director and conductor of the event will be Izaki Masahiro.
