Holló Jankó

The name Holló Jankó is a catchy one, not coincidentally, as most fairy-tale heroes are magnified, self-aggrandized images of human powers. The raven is a symbol of creation and death, of spiritual power. There is something majestic, something mysterious about it. Based on the folktale, we create a story that remains a powerful imprint of the symbolism of the fairy tale in the language of dance. We strive to ensure that everyone, from preschool to adolescence, can extract age-appropriate problems, games, drama, and humor. Our performance is about being different, learning about our own story, accepting ourselves, and becoming a hero.
