Szigligeti Theatre On Tour in Budapest

Artists of Szigligeti Theatre are honouring two invitations to Budapest this month.

Between 19—21. January, all three companies of Szigligeti Theatre will play at the 6th edition of Vendégváró Festival, organized by Bethlen Square Theatre in Budapest.

During the festival, László Németh, graphic designer of Szigligeti Theatre, and Imola Tőkés, the versatile artist of Nagyvárad Ensemble will have a joint exhibition. After the opening, on the 19th, at 7 PM, Nagyvárad Ensemble presents its dance performance Barbarians, inspired by the short story of the same title by Zsigmond Móricz, and choreographed by Csaba Györfi.

On Saturday, 20 January, at 7 PM, Szigligeti Compay plays the world-famous absurd drama Tango by Slawomir Mrozek, and on the 21st, Lilliput Company presents its performance The Square Round Forest.

At the invitation of Magyarság Háza, on 23 January at 7 PM, Szigligeti Company presents the comedy Mine Flower by Csaba Székely. Entrance is free, but prior registration is required. Please book your seat at magyarsaghazainfo@gmail.com.
