Theatre Tech Workshop by the Hungarian Theatre Union

During the 13th Meeting of Hungarian Professional Folk Ensembles of Transylvania, in Oradea on 13 and 14 October, a training on lighting and sound technology took place, organized by the Hungarian Theatre Union and the Hungarian Theatre Tech Union.

At the presentations held by experts of the Hungarian Theatre Tech Union, 28 technicians of Romanian and Hungarian theatre associations were present. Presenters included András Schmid, the Eastern European Representative of Christie Digital, János Pelyhe, representing Pelyhe és Társa Ltd., Gergely Lakatos, expert sound technician of the Budapest Music Academy, president of the theatre tech association, Péter Kiss, staffer at the Palace of Arts in Budapest, and Sándor Böröcz, leader of Lisys-Project Ltd.

The next seminar of the tech trainings organized by the Hungarian Theatre Union, founded in the summer of 2017, will take place in the spring of 2018. The main organizer and host of the workshops is Szigligeti Theatre Oradea.
