Studio performances in January

Szigligeti Theatre will give 8 studio performances in January, including productions by Szigligeti Company, Nagyvárad Ensemble and Lilliput Company.

On the 6th of January, at 6PM, Lilliput Company will play its nonverbal performance addressed to adults:  in the play 1880-2020, directed by  Sardar Tagirovsky, actors of the company analyze the nature of time, the question of passing, and human typologies that transcend the ages. The performance will take place at Arcadia Theatre.

On the 11th of January. Nagyvárad Ensemble will play its dance performance Kate's Story, at Szigligeti Studio. The performance, premiered in September, is inspired by the figure of the obstinate girl, present in Hungarian folk tales as well as Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, using the means of folk dance and music. Directed by Csaba László.

In January, Szigligeti Company will be on tour: on the 11th, they will play Csaba Székely's tragicomedy Mine Flower at Sf. Gheorghe, then on the 12th, in Covasna. The successful and very funny play will be presented to Oradea audiences on the 15th and on the 21st of January, at 7PM, in Szigligeti Studio.

On the 18th of January, children and adults will cheer for the adventurous love story of  Leánder the elf and Lenszirom the princess. Andor Szilágyi's family play has been played over 20 times by Szigligeti Company, directed by Tünde Tóth.

On the 29th of January, 7PM, Dangerous Liaisons will be re-billed: the play based on the script of the world-famous film has desire and love intrigues at its centre.
