A new educational project at Szigligeti Theatre

Szigligeti Theater is preparing a new theatrical educational program, titled Prompt Box. Its goal is for participants to get to know each other, the theatre and the world that surrounds us, in a playful manner. Activities will be connected to particular plays, researching the possibilities of interpretation – the problems raised, and through these, of contemporary phenomena – with the methods of drama education.

Test activities took place this Spring, when teacher Eszteró Ida and drama educator Bordás Andrea discussed about relationships between men and women, in relation to Dangerous Liaisons, with students of Iosif Vulcan Pedagogic High School and the High School of Arts. November's activities will be centered around the first premiere in the higschool students' season tickets, contemporary play My Little Cold Room, and the problems it raises (dominance and subordination, vulnerability, personal crisis).

Activities are concieved mainly for those who have high school season tickets, but, on demand, the organizers can make appointments for other groups too. More info at pr@szigligeti.ro.
