We have started the rehearsals for Mine Flower

The young artists of Szigligeti Company will put to the stage the multiple award-winning text by Székely Csaba, Mine Flower. Next week, rehearsals are starting for the production set to premiere on the 19th of August, on the open-air stage of the fortress.

The multiple award-winning contemporary Transylvanian drama peace will be directed by actor Hunyadi István. This will be his first directorial work. On the press conference of Theatre Summer Evenings, the young artist declared: „We expect a really joyful play from the actor's part. The best proof for this is the fact that they will take part in this special rehearsal process in their own free time, during which they will have the chance to play on the fortress' stage for the very first time.”

Mine Flower tells the story of an isolated Szekler mining zone. Besides povery, its characters also have to face a serious emotional crisis. But Székely Csaba's social criticism does not lack humor – in character and in situation alike, also language games, which, together, create an incredibly entertaining play.
