The Case: Directorial Award on the XXVIII. Festival of Hungarian Theatre in Kisvárda

Sardar Tagirovsky wins Best Director award on the XXVIII. Festival of Ethnic Hungarian Theatre in Kisvárda, which took place 17—25th of July. Student at the Marosvásárhely University of Arts, he participated in the prestigious event with two plays – The Case with Szigligeti Company, and The Bourgeois Gentleman with Tamási Áron Theatre of Sepsiszentgyörgy.

The event's public had the chance to view more than two dozen plays at this year's edition, that had a competition program consisting of 13 Hungarian theatre companies from outside Hungary's borders. Szigligeti Company presented Szíjártó Tímea-Aletta's DráMázat-award-winning play The Case to the jury – actors Hámori Gabriella and Gáspár Tibor, TV editor Kántor Viola, critic Kovács Dezső and theatrical writer Török Ákos, which was a hit with the public and theatrical professionals alike.
