A Dancing New Year

Nagyvárad Ensemble has finished the year dancing, and started the new one the same way. Its dancers were featured in Szigligeti Theatre's Maya, not only on New Year's Eve, but also on the 2nd of January. In the operetta by Szabolcs Fényes and Imre Harmath, our audience will be able to view the dancers of the ensemble again on Sunday the 8th, and Saturday the 14th of January. The play is directed by Eszter Novák and choreographed by László Bóbis.

Wednesday the 11th and Tuesday the 17th of January, at 7 PM, Nagyvárad Ensemble will rebill its dance performance Kate's Story, in Szigligeti Sudio. The performance had its premiere in September, and is inspired by the character of the stubborn girl, known from Hungarian folklore as well as Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, using means of folk dance and music. Director: Csaba László. This same performance will be played in Carei, on the 18th of January, also at 7 PM.

Back in Oradea, our ensemble will present its dance performance titled Collisions, Friday at 7 PM, in Szigligeti Studio. The performance is about people today. Men and women, stories that can be events on their own, but together they show a very diverse picture of us. The performance is directed by Levente Dimény, and choreographed by Andreea Belu, Sándor Brugós, Levente Dimény, Csaba Györfi, Zsolt Juhász, Csaba László, Dalma Kerekes, Imola T?kés, and Tünde Baczó.
