Stabat Mater premieres in Átrium

On the 25th of April, Nagyvárad Ensemble's performance, in collaboration with Central European Dance Theatre (KET), premiered in Budapest at the Átrium Film-Színház theatre. This was the first time that the Ensemble played this location, already a well-known venue for KET, who have played here many times in the past.

The dance performance, based on Rossini's work about the Virgin Mary's pain under the cross, was directed an coreographed by Kun Attila, leader of Central European Dance Theatre. Assistant choreographer was Horváth Adrienn (KET), assistant instructor Mádi László (KET), set and costume designer was Cristina Breteanu, while its dramaturgist was L?rincz Ágnes. The production, created through a laborious process, was supported by the Ministry of Human Resources and the National Cultural Fund of Hungary.
