End of Year at the Puppet School

The new module of the Szigligeti Acting School, the Puppet School, celebrated the end of the schoolyear on Sunday the 12th of June, in the Fortress of Nagyvárad. The graduation ceremony was, at the same time, an open course, where not only the teachers who took part in the classes, but also others who were interested in the puppet school could participate. Participants were greeted by Oláh Anikó Katalin, who thanked everyone for registering, then puppet artist Hanyecz Debelka Róbert made a summary of the theoretical information regarding theatre and puppeteering history that participating educators had already learnt at the training. In conclusion of everything they learnt, participants warmed up, played and puppeteered together. At the end of the very pleasant afternoon, they recieved their diplomas. The Puppet School will open again next year, awaiting all teachers, educators, parents, or anyone interested in puppeteering.
