Theatre Camp in Havasrekettye

After the child actors who played in The Jungle Book and The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, this year, children who will play roles in The Ugly Duckling camped in Havasrekettye. Beside the 23 kids, 4 puppeteers, a director, a dramaturgist, a choreographer and a correpetitor have worked to prepare the play. The goal of the camp was, beyond team-building, to undersand the text, get to know the coreography, and learn the songs composed by Bakk-Dávid László. Director Tóth Tünde, dramaturgist Czvikker Katalin, choreographer Györfi Csaba and correpetitor Varga Imre worked seven hours a day with the child actors of the play due to be presented in September. 
The work they started on the camp will continue at the Puppet Theatre. The play The Ugly Duckling, written by Zalán Tibor, is expected to premiere in September. The camp was financed by the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania, and the Communitas Fund.
