Kormos' picture show

István Kormos rewrote 12 Hungarian folk tales in verse. The performance uses three of them: the first one is about a dumb wolf, the second about the tricky peasant, and the third one is surprisingly about dancing goats. We create a different world of forms, the creators are: Gabi Makhult, Katalin Bérces, Gábor Balla. The three tales are linked by Kormos’ wonderful poetry and the play’s musical universe, which is played live by the actors and their musical instruments (lute, flute, accordion, rhythm instruments). The music is composed by Béla Ágoston, who has already created dynamic musical universes for many dance theatre performances and puppet plays.
