Mini-season in September

In the first two weeks of September, Szigligeti Theatre will organize its Miniseason for 2021: the programmes of the event will include performances from the 2020/2021 season.

The 2021 Miniseason will begin with three oper-air performances: Those who are interested can view the past season’s biggest hit, Somewhere in Europe, performed on the Oradea Fortress stage on September 1st, 20:00. The same venue will host Szigligeti Company’s Plan Phoenix, a play based on improvisations, on Saturday, September 4th. On Sunday, September 5th, the comedic mockumentary titled The Tiger can be viewed in Bodega Café at 20:00.

The programmes of the Mini-season will continue on September 8th, with the dance company’s fairytale-play of János vitéz from 19:00, followed by NagyváradAnsemble’s dance theatre play Vuk on September 9, 18:00. On the 10th of September, from 19:00, a transcript of Imre Madách’s The Tragedy of Man will be performed on the Árkádia stage, and William Shakespeare’s most famous drama, Hamlet will be played on September 11. On September 12, Liliput Company will present the puppet play titled The Four-left-legged Mouse at 17:00.

The miniseason closes with Cabaret 120, which was first performed on New Years Eve 2020, followed by the company’s awards ceremony.

The organizers would like to remind audience members, that canceled season tickets for 2019-2020 can be used for the Miniseason (except for Somewhere in Europe and Hamlet). This is the last chance for ticket holders to use the remaining season tickets from 2019-2020!
