Tango: a New Premiere with Szigligeti Company

The beloved drama by Sławomir Mrożek, Tango, will be presented by Szigligeti Company at the end of September. The studio play is about generational differences, and the basic dilemmas of the European bourgeoisie, in the ironic-satyric tone specific to the Polish author. At the core of the story, there is Arthur, young student of medicine, who, turning against his parents, attempts to bring back his grandparents' values, starting a quite peculiar revolution.

The premiere will take place on 30 September, at 7 pm, in Szigligeti Studio. Tickets are available at the theatre`s ticket agency (open 2 to 7 pm, or one hour before the start of the weekend shows), or online on www.biletmaster.ro.

The show was directed by László Harsányi Sulyom, and features Imre Dobos, Enikő Fábián, Levente Kovács Jr, Edit Firtos, István Huyadi, Hunor Sebestyén, and Cecília Trabalka. Scenography and costumes by Florina Bellinda Vasilatos. Dramaturg: Zsigó Anna.
