HolnapUtán Festival – In the Main Role, Theatre
The festival aims to present well-known theatre artists, but also debutants, its schedule containing important plays by Radu Afrim, Eszter Novák, Sardar Tagirovsky, Attila Balogh, and Márta Vargyas.
Besides theatre plays, Szigligeti Theatre launched a workshop for students of the five Hungarian-language theatre academies in the Carpathian region. The 12 participating acting students will create a play based on texts by authors such as Henriette Kemenes, Evelin Jock, Zsuzsa Ozsváth, Dóra Mărcuțiu-Rácz, Tamás Lovassy Cseh, László Edgár Varga şi Árpád Levente Biró, instructed by directing students Szófia Deli (Târgu Mureş), and Jakab Tarnóczi (Budapest). The workshop, titled HolnapUtán Projekt, will be supervised by director, university professor Eszter Novák, Szigligeti Theatre's art director. The play will premiere on the 9th of April, at 5 pm, in Szigligeti Studio.
For all three big stage shows of the festival, 40 RON festival tickets will be on sale. Tickets are available at the theatre's booking office, or online, at www.biletmaster.ro.
