Fux Feszt Has Ended

The third edition of the Festival of Hungarian Professional Puppet Theatres from Transylvania, or Fux Feszt, has come to an end. On the morning of the last day, the audience was invited to see the show Hungarian Folk Tales by Trupa Arcadia Oradea.

At 11 o'clock, the festival's last performance took place: The History of Flight by MárkuSzínház Pécs, followed by the awards ceremony.

The festival's prizes were awarded as follows:

The prize of the children's jury was awarded to Puck Puppet Theatre Cluj for the performance Mimorozart.

The two directorial prizes of the festival, based on the proposal of the jury, were awarded to Liliput Company's puppeteer Viktor Szabó J., for his performance in The Chick and the Duckling, and to the company of Tomcsa Sándor Theatre Odorheiu Secuiesc, for the show The Tale of the Silent Shoe.

The shared Paul Fux Award for best scenery went to Puck Puppet Theatre Cluj for their performance Mimorozart, and to Cimborák Puppet Theatre Sf. Gheorghe for their performance About a Lazy Fellow.

The Award for Best Show was given to Brighella Puppet Department of the Harag György Company of Nortern Theatre Satu Mare, for their show The Story of the Bowl and the Spoon. The performance also won the prize of the teachers' jury.
