Who Will I Be when I Grow Up?

The program School in Theatre,Theatre in School by Szigligeti Theatre is preparing for its fifth premiere, titled Who Will I Be when I Grow Up. This year's play has been made based on the students' own texts and improvisations, by the five teams participating in workshops lead by ten actors, since January. The play's premiere will take place on the 3rd of October, at 7 PM, in the auditorium of Szigligeti Theatre.

 

To take part in the school program, students were required to present a text at least one page long, related to the topic “How I imagine my future in 20 years”. Based on the almost 80 applications, the teams were divided on the 27th of January. Work was done in five teams. Students of Ady Endre High School were coached by Kocsis Gyula, Fodor Réka and Jerovszky Tímea, the team of Mihai Eminescu High School by Tasnádi-Sáhy Noémi and Hunyadi István, the joint team of Lorántffy Zsuzsanna Reformed High School and Partium Christian University by Pitz Melinda and Csatlós Lóránt, the students of Szent László Roman Catholic High School by Ababi Csilla and Szotyori József, while the team consisting of students from the School of Arts and Pedagogic High School were prepared by actors Szabó Eduárd and Gajai Ágnes.

 

The forst rehearsal of the play based on the application works and the students' individual impros was held in June 2016, the play is directed by Novák Eszter.
