Dreams
in our program Theatre in School, School in Theatre
This year, in our program Theatre in School, School in Theatre – after last season's Csongor and Tünde – the teams of high school and university students, led by our actors, will make short scenes using the play Gellérthegyi álmok by Ferenc Karinthy, and the “one-miute short stories” by István Örkény. The scenes will be presented in a show titled Dreams, on World Theatre Day, Wednesday 17 March, 6PM, in Szigligeti Theatre.
This year, university students also take part in the program: besides students from six hight schools (Ady Endre High School, Iosif Vulcan High School, Mihai Eminescu High School, Lorántffy Zsuzsanna Reformed High School, Szent László Roman Catholic High School and the School of Arts), students of Partium Christian University will also participate. After the casting, 9 teams were formed, which, led by actors, will create scenes using Karinthy's and Örkény's texts. The scenes will be presented on World Theatre Day. Art director István Szabó K. Has said earlier that the goal is not to create a coherent play, but to show the results of a joint thinking and creative process.
Tickets for the show can be ourchased in limited numbers at the theatre's booking office, or at www.biletmaster.ro. Ticket price is 10 RON. The booking office is open Tuesday to Friday 11AM to 1PM, and 5—7PM, as well as one hour before curtain time.
