The Storyteller

In the last season, the Szigligeti Theatre put emphasis on teenagers. We started an irregular literature class with one of the best known Hungarian poet: Arany János. We tried to get closer adolescents to his famous poem Toldi, by performing in a way that it is closer to them. This season, the curriculum is Weöres Sándor, Hungarian poet who, this year, would be 100 years old. We set to music his poems and made a musical assemblage with the title Storyteller. Those who set to music the poems, were: Szőke Kavinszki András, Csepei Róbert, Varga Imre, and Haraji Adalbert. Vocalists: Stéfán Bodor Mária and Oláh Anikó.
